Monday May 29, 2017 is Memorial Day. Is Best Buy open?
God bless. Best Buy, like other big box stores like it, is open on Monday May 29, 2017 — otherwise known as Memorial Day. This is delightful news in case of any appliance-related mishaps at the cookout, but also because Best Buy has some truly incredible Memorial Day deals.
Memorial Day is a national holiday and many, but not all, people have the day off work. For those not scheduled to work, this can be a day of relaxation, socializing and even shopping. For the shoppers, this means the sales and at Best Buy, which keeps normal hours unless otherwise posted, this means good sales.
At Best Buy, the 2017 Memorial Day sale includes up to 40 percent off appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, and washer/dryer sets. It also includes microwaves, which will come in real handy for reheating those delicious Memorial Day barbecue leftovers.
The other major sale to cash in on at Best Buy during Memorial Day this year is the home theater sale. Sure, Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer, but for some people, summer means catching up important TV and movies in luxurious air conditioning. To each their own.
You can also save up $200 on select MacBook models and up to $150 on HP computers, which doesn’t necessarily fit a theme, but feels worth mentioning nonetheless.
No matter how you spend Memorial Day — or how you plan to spend your summer — Best Buy will be open for your home appliance and technological goodies. Not to mention clutch support from the Geek Squad if and when disaster strikes the speakers or someone drops a smartphone in the punch.
Most Best Buys are open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., but if you plan on going early or late on Memorial Day, call your local store to confirm.
