During the Apple Special Event on Wednesday, the tech giant unveiled a new Apple Watch, including a Nike+ themed watch.
It was a big day for Apple on Wednesday, with a number of big announcements coming out of their Special Event in the Bay Area. Along with a number of new products, Apple was joined by big companies like Nike and Instagram during the event.
On Wednesday, Apple announced a brand new line of Apple Watches. One of the new models was actually a collaborative effort between Nike and Apple, with the two massive companies introducing the Apple Watch Nike+.
The Apple Watch Nike+ will be perfect for consumers that focus on living a healthy lifestyle, especially those who are into running. The 2nd series of Apple Watches will feature built-in GPS along with a water-resistant design to avoid any accidental damage from things like falling into a pool.
The new Nike-branded Apple Watch will allow you to track metrics on your workouts while also allowing you to connect and compare with friends. Unlike other models of the Series 2 Apple Watch, the Nike+ model will feature a Nike Sport Band that is more lightweight and breathable, making it more practical to wear while running.
As always, Nike’s Apple Watch will feature some interesting color choices. The Nike+ Apple Watch will come in either Space Gray Aluminum or Silver Aluminum with the choice of a plan or volt-themed sport band.
Pre orders for the Apple Watch Nike+ will begin on September 9th, with the watch set to be released in stores in late October.
