Fitness expert Jackie Warner arrested for assault

Fitness expert Jackie Warner was arrested for alleged assault with a deadly weapon following a car crash in Los Angeles on Friday.

Fitness experts have become celebrities with the advent of social media and growing interest in healthier living by the public at large. One of the biggest names in fitness is Jackie Warner, with over 32,000 followers on Twitter and over 19,000 on Instagram.

Unfortunately with the public adulation comes the scorn for missteps, and Warner has found herself in hot water. On Friday, Warner was arrested following a car crash, where she hit a pole, according to a report from E Online.

The West Los Angeles Sheriff tells E! News that there were no injuries and confirmed that her vehicle rolled back and hit a police car. Warner, who appeared on Bravo’s Work Out, got out of the car without issue and was compliant with officials on the scene before getting arrested. Police aren’t sure how her car rolled back, but the case has been assigned to a detective and is considered an active investigation.

That is the extent of the details at this time, and it seems the offending action was her car rolled back and hit the police car. If that is what resulted in Warner to be arrested it seems excessive, clearly accidental following a crash. That being said, little details surrounding the accident and what caused it are offered.
