Animation is a hard game to get into. Stop-motion animation is something even a pro’s pro can’t do right. It’s simple in concept but the execution of stop-motion animation is where most people get hung out to dry and their inexperience is shown.
But when done right, stop-motion is a thing of beauty. Really the only way to enhance a perfect stop-motion experience is to add in Lego. That’s what someone did to create perhaps the most brilliant breakfast-based short film you’ll ever see. Bricks Production are the folks behind this little gem and it’s well worth four minutes of your day (I’m accounting for doubling viewing, which is a must).
Beyond that, it’s a fantastic display of what stop-motion can look like when its done to perfection. All the film involves is a guy making breakfast, but all of his food items are made out of Lego. The result is amazing.
Check it out and be wowed:
We’ve seen Lego stop-motion before and most of the cream that rises to the top is impressive. This is special in that it’s not based on some film franchise or set in a Star Wars universe — as most of these films tend to be.
It’s as simple as it gets yet it’s captivating. That’s how you know you have a special creation and having it based around Lego only makes this even more impressive.
