LEGO World of Creativity takes fun, games and gravity tests on a national tour.

Starting summer 2017 and extending into 2018, the traveling LEGO World of Creativity tour will bring interactive experiences to families across the United States. The three-day event, hosted in convention centers and expo halls, invites Lego fans young and old to play and build with the beloved bricks in a range of hands-on activities.

Different building zones – some new, some classic – will offer different experiences. “The Big City” will let fans create custom Lego vehicles and test them with race ramps. Elsewhere, visitors can build sand castles on a Lego Brick Beach at “The Ocean” or put their creations to the “gravity test” in the Outer Space zone. LEGO says that “other building activities, games and challenges will round out each stop.”

Vince Rubino, senior manager of event marketing for LEGO Systems, said in a press release:

The LEGO World of Creativity tour combines some of the most popular official LEGO event experiences with a new slate of interactive activities centered on open-ended creative building that are sure to surprise and delight kids and adults alike.

Notably, the three day event is not open attendance. There will be seven sessions in each city, one of Friday evening (5pm-8pm) and three on Saturday and Sunday. Each session gives the ticket-holder access to the convention area for three hours and attendees buy a session-specific ticket. The tour starts in Savannah, Georgia and while LEGO has only announced five stops so far, they anticipate announcing additional cities for 2018 closer to the date.

The World of Creativity Tour stops and dates are as follows:

Savannah, GA – July 7-9
Albuquerque, NM – August 4-6
Tacoma, WA – September 8-10
Boise, ID – September 29-October 1
Madison, WI – October 13-15

Tickets on sale now on the LEGO World of Creativity microsite. Both adult and child tickets are $22 before Ticketmaster fees.
