Microsoft Allowing Users to Sync Games Through Platforms

Microsoft’s next update will allow users to play games between multiple consoles.

With companies like Apple, Sony and Google allowing their costumers to be able to sync their games, music and anything personal to them within their different products, Microsoft has done the same with their Xbox One console games and their PC games.

According to Tech Insider, Microsoft will have a Windows 10 update at the end of the year that allows customers to use “Xbox Play Anywhere”, which allows them to play Microsoft made games like Halo, Forza Motorsport, Dead Rising, ReCore and many other titles made by the company to be played between Xbox One, Xbox One S and Windows 10 computers.

This also means that you cannot play games like FIFA, Call of Duty or Overwatch on these systems since they are not made by Microsoft. Still, being able to play a game like Halo or Forza on your TV and then having everything from achievements and saves synced to you PC is very intriguing.

Microsoft is making a big push with this idea and it could mean more games will be made by the company to keep their costumers satisfied. So far, only 12 games can be synced through multiple Microsoft consoles. Video games are moving towards more wide range console’s that allows a person to not just play at home, but anywhere that allows them to.

Apple has done this for a while now, allowing users to sync music or movies that they bought on iTunes to be used between any Apple product or anywhere that allows them to sign in with their Apple ID.
