Netflix Teases Stranger Things Season 2

After the incredible success of the first season of Stranger Things, Netflix has officially announced that there will be a second season of the original series.

Anyone with a Netflix subscription has probably heard of the hit original series Stranger Things by now. If you haven’t, then you need to stop what you’re doing right now and immediately starting watching the show.

Released back in July, Stranger Things went from a completely unknown series to arguably the most popular show of the summer on any network or online streaming platform. According to Variety, the first season of the show was actually the third-most streamed season of any original series on Netflix in 2016 behind just Season 1 of Fuller House and Season 4 of Orange is the New Black.

After much speculation, Netflix and the Duffer Brothers were excited to announce on Wednesday that the adventure in Hawkins, Indiana will continue in 2017. Netflix officially released a teaser for Season 2 on Wednesday morning, which you can watch in the YouTube video below.

It’s not very clear what the phrases mean in the YouTube video, but they definitely add to the intrigue of another season. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Duffer Brothers revealed that the second season will likely feature the kids from the first season along with a handful of new characters.

The season season of Stranger Things is obviously a long ways away, but the fact that the show will officially be coming back should make any fan of the Netflix original series very excited.
