Sneaker heads everywhere are probably familiar with the Nike Killshot, the classic casual sneaker that was a much bigger deal back in the day. However, Nike and the retailer J.Crew have teamed up to bring the Nike Killshot back in stores.
J.Crew is the exclusive retailer of the J.Crew x Nike Killshot 2, which they released in their stores and online on Wednesday. The original Killshot was intended to be a tennis sneaker back in the 1970s, and now the two companies are bringing the classic look back.
With navy, off-white and gum colors, the Nike Killshot 2 is the epitome of a retro sneaker, and it only makes sense that it is being sold at a casual retailer like J.Crew. The craziest part about all of this is the fact that despite the shoes being released in stores and online on Wednesday, J.Crew quickly ran out of the sneaker in hours.
The sneakers are going for $90 when they’re available, but it’s not clear when the retailer will have more pairs of the Nike Killshot 2 available in stores or online. In the meantime, you can check out some pictures of the casual sneaker below.
Over the years, Nike has done a great job of providing innovative new products and shoes to their customers. At the same time, the company knows when it’s appropriate to release retro sneakers, and sneaker heads everywhere definitely help them with this side of the market.
