Over the past couple of weeks, there has been some discussion about LEGO’s effect on our overall well-being. The company wants to compare the building blocks to yoga, working out, and coloring books in hopes of adults picking up a set to help deal with the daily stresses of life.
On the company’s official Twitter page, the company revealed that they had asked five people to play with LEGOs at work to see how their overall well-being improved. They shared a video, asking people to play with the bricks at work to improve their productivity. They used technology and wearable tech pieces to track their well-being.
They reported that they felt better, they felt they had better efficiency at work, and they felt they were calmer throughout the workday, especially if they played with bricks in the morning. The company isn’t encouraging companies to introduce LEGO to their offices, but they are asking people to keep the results in mind.
Of course, having a huge play area at the office may be healthy for a while, but it could be problematic for people, who don’t know how to let go of the building blocks when it’s time to go to work.

But it may also be a good Christmas idea for your employees if you are a company owner. There could be a time limit on how long people could be at the LEGO station for but creating something for a few minutes in the morning with the goal of increasing productivity for your workers could yield some great results.
Would you like to have LEGO at your work?
