When a big budget blockbuster film is coming out, chances are it has a Lego set attached to it. Not every movie gets a Lego companion but most franchise tentpoles — specifically established franchises — will be Lego-ized.
Star Wars is perhaps the biggest movie franchise in the world and it’s no surprise that Lego has been all over it in recent years. Dating back to the popularity of the Lego Star Wars video games, the symbiotic relationship between Lego and Star Wars is undeniable.
There’s a downside to that and it comes in the from of leaks.
The Last Jedi is hitting theaters in December and as a result we’re seeing various Lego sets revealed. More than a few sets have included Supreme Leader Snoke and all of them have given us a new look at this character.
A quick look at the figure shows us that it’s different from the movie but pretty much the same thing that we saw a few weeks ago.
This Lego minifigure implies we’re going to be seeing a very different version of Snoke in The Last Jedi than we saw in The Force Awakens. Perhaps it’s a flashback to before Snoke was all beat up and hallowed out, or maybe he’s not in as gross shape as we initially thought.
Either way, these Lego leaks are gold for those Star Wars fans hoping to get as much of the story as possible before actually seeing it. Speculation is what makes movies so much fun and while the Lego sets don’t spoil anything, they come close to tipping some hands early.
