Snoke’s Mega Star Destroyer could be another massive Lego set?

Force Friday has revealed a lot about the upcoming Star Wars movie, but did we finally figure out what the other massive Lego set will be?

Now that Force Friday II is behind us, we’re left digesting not only our new toys but the new information about The Last Jedi which was revealed to us through merchandising.

Since I’m obsessed with Lego, naturally my mind instantly goes to what would make a great set. Something we saw revealed on Friday stuck out as something that could be the second half of a potential tip we heard this past week about another huge Lego set coming from a galaxy far, far away.

We need to take all of this with a grain of salt, as Lego hasn’t announced another massive set in the same way it did the UCS Millennium Falcon. However, if what Lego designer Hans Burkhard Schlömer said about another big set coming is true, we might know what it is.

All of this is pure, unfiltered speculation but it would make sense if the newly revealed Supreme Leader Snoke’s Mega Star Destroyer was the next big set. This won’t rival the 7,000-plus piece UCS Millennium Falcon, but it’s tailor made to be a giant set that is up there with the likes of the Death Star II and others.

It also makes a ton of sense that the second of two big Lego sets would be related to The Last Jedi. The Millennium Falcon set is technically tied to TLJ, but it’s an evergreen set that crosses over all eras of Star Wars and is a low-key early tie-in to the upcoming Han Solo movie.

Having a set that is Snoke’s badass Mega Star Destroyer is too perfect to not happen.

There are already plenty of The Last Jedi Lego tie-ins, so it could be that this simply missed the window. Then again, perhaps the company knows we’re going to need to financially recover after the UCS Millennium Falcon and is spacing these sets out to give us a break.
