According to the official Apple website, the tech company will be holding a live Apple keynote event at 10 a.m. PT on September 7th. The timing of the date is probably intentional since the iPhone 7 is expected to be announced.

In fact, Ewan Spence from Forbes is reporting that Apple invited media to the event in San Francisco, with the company all but flat out telling the media members that the company is announcing the newest iPhone.

The newest iPhone is expected to feature two models in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. There are a number of new features rumored to be associated with the new models, including the company removing the headphone jack in favor of wireless headphones. Other rumored features include an upgraded camera, a new and improved home button and a number of upgrades to the iOS software.

Of course, a lot of these rumors are speculative, although some are backed with some leaked images. We can continue to speculate on what the iPhone 7 will entail, but the good news is that we will actually know what is going to be in the new model in the next few days.
