The 4th of July is the most American holiday possible. Not only do we celebrate our Independence from the British, but we also get to light stuff on fire, drink beer and wear the stars and bars on any possible article of clothing.

There are all kinds of things you can get for the 4th of July, especially when it comes to planning a party. One of the go-to stores to get all of your party supplies is Target, where you can get all of the hot dogs, buns, chips, beer and anything else you need.

Perhaps the most American thing to do when planning a party for the 4th of July is to wait until the very last minute to get all of your party supplies. However, not all stores are open on Independence Day, so that begs us the question: Is Target open on the 4th this year?

Fortunately, Target will be operating at their normal hours on the 4th of July. That means that you can be a real American and wait until the morning off to get your party supplies. Even if you’re not planning a party, you can still go in and get patio furniture, a grill, swim gear or whatever else you want or need.

For all of the latest deals and ideas for the 4th of July, you can check Target’s corporate website here. Be sure to have a fun and safe Independence Day this year, and feel free to procrastinate as long as you want.
