NBA superstar Kevin Durant and Nike are ready to debut their latest sneaker.
The former NBA MVP has a very busy summer ahead of him. Along with playing on the 2016 USA Summer Olympics basketball team, the 27-year-old will also be talking with multiple NBA teams as he tries to decide where to sign once free agency begins.
Along with all of the stuff on the court, Durant will also be releasing his latest sneaker next month. The Nike Zoom KD 9 is set to debut in July, with the white/university red pairs set to release on July 1 and the black/white pairs coming out on July 9.
You can see pictures of the latest sneakers below.
“Kevin Durant is prepared to dominate on the world’s stage this summer,” Nike.com says. “Debuting with a movie-style world premiere in NYC, Durant’s new Nike Zoom KD 9 arrives in a patriotic red, white and blue color way. Get your popcorn ready.”
Some lucky fans in New York got the chance to get an early pair of the Nike Zoom KD 9s this past weekend. The pairs were actually delivered in person by Durant himself, who probably made the day of more than a few unsuspecting fans.

Nike was able to re-sign Durant back in 2014 after a bidding war between them and rival sports apparel company Under Armour. Despite a big that would have been the largest deal in Under Armour history, Durant wound up staying with Nike on a deal rumored to be worth over $300 million.
With all of the stuff Durant has been doing with Nike, he probably feels like he made the right decision.
