In one of the most Florida headlines ever, a five-foot dead shark was found in a parking lot at a local Wal-Mart in St. Augustine, Florida.
Whenever you hear the words “Florida” and “Wal-Mart” in the same sentence or in the same headline, you know that you’re going to be in for a treat. Well, on Thursday, we got both of those words in the most Florida headline in quite some time.
According to FOX 25 WFXT in Florida, a dead five-foot shark was found in a Wal-Mart parking lot last week in St. Augustine, Florida according to the St. John County Sheriff’s Office.
The dead shark was apparently found by an RV owner who was staying in the parking lot, because of course that’s who found it. The RV owner apparently heard a loud noise outside, and when he went to see what the noise was, he found a dead shark on the hood of his vehicle.
You can check out a picture of the dead shark below.
I don’t really know why someone would leave a dead shark on the hood of an RV, but there have definitely been all kinds of crazy stories to come out of Florida. Unfortunately, security cameras weren’t able to see who left the dead shark in the parking lot, because apparently the RV was out of the view of any cameras.
The mystery of this dead shark will probably never be solved, but I’m guessing that there’s a good chance that there are all kinds of scenarios playing out in your head right now.
