Amazon has launched a new service for its members in the Washington D.C. area allowing the subscribers to get food delivered to them.
Amazon Restaurant is expanding, and will now allow their Prime subscribers in the Washington D.C. area to order food from nearby restaurants.
With a wide array of restaurants in the area, it’s a nice option for those who don’t want to leave the house. There are a lot of restaurants in the area that are partnered with Amazon Restaurant. All of the participating ones are listed in this article by Yahoo, some of which include Nazca Mochica, Tono Sushi and Coppi’s Organic Restaurant, just to name a few.
The available restaurants will vary depending on your location.
According to the Amazon Restaurants website, you will get your food within one hour of ordering and you are also able to track the delivery of your order in real-time.
This option to deliver is available in many major cities across the United States, and is not growing to expand to the Washington D.C. area. Other cities that have Amazon Restaurant include, Chicago, Orlando and San Diego.
Restaurant selection varies by location, but the website lists all the available restaurants in the area where you’re ordering.
The website also offers price ranking from 1 to 5 so you can anticipate how much you will be spending. There are also user reviews of each establishment, so you can know what kind of experience other people have had.
You can order from their website, as well as from the Prime Now or the regular Amazon apps.
