Is Starbucks open on Easter Sunday this year or will we have to home brew our coffee for one day out of the week?
Easter Sunday means the eternal struggle to find out which stores are open and which ones are closed. This extends beyond trying to figure out what retail locations are open for your last minute Easter dinner needs to more casual experiences.
Fast food and other restaurants need business too, and we need to know if they’re open or not. If McDonald’s isn’t your jam, perhaps some Easter coffee while you run to church is more your thing. Whether or not Starbucks open is a complicated question to answer — more complicated than it probably should be.
Unlike other stores, Starbucks doesn’t have an official policy as far as when they stay open and when they don’t. It’s not a national policy, as some stores stay open on weekends, others don’t and some close down at 2pm. It’s all about the location, which means you’ll need to double check your local Starbucks by giving your barista a call.
There may be a chance your Starbucks is open, but the best way to find out is to hit that link and call up the store closest to you. It’s on a guarantee but at the very least we can all admit that one day without Starbucks will not be the end of the world.
You can’t blame the chain for not being open if your local shop is closed. Starbucks has remained one of the most progressive companies in the country when it comes to truly putting their employees front and center. From offering jobs to veterans and refugees to paying for college tuition of younger employees, Starbucks is on par with Amazon as far as being a clean company in mind and spirit.
So if Starbucks is closed on Easter, just remember the big picture and be sure to get your cup of coffee tomorrow from an employee you know enjoyed their Easter Sunday off.
