Game of Thrones wrapped up its seventh season this summer, and we need some of the scenes we saw recreated with Lego sets.
Now that Game of Thrones is in offseason mode — and therefore so are we — it’s high time we revisit the things we just recently saw. The seventh season of the show was a bit fast paced at times, but still delivered some seriously intense moments that continue to stick out in our minds.
Of course, our minds instantly go to Lego. Game of Throne is criminally absent when it comes to officially licensed Lego sets, despite the popularity of the crossover audiences. With all that we saw this past season, it might be time to change that.
So in honor of the season ending — and in a shameless effort to tie Lego to this — let’s look back at five moments that legitimately would make cool Lego sets.
5. Dany vs. Jaime at Highgarden
The Moment
After Olenna Martell drinks poison in front of Jaime Lannister, he returns to Bronn and the army of Lannisters and Tarley’s near the castle. They prepare to defend against an attacking Dothraki army when over the hilltop comes Daenerys and her dragon to lay waste to everyone in her path.
Why It Needs To Be A Lego Set
This seems tailor made for a battle Lego set. There isn’t a whole lot of architecture, but that could change if we wanted to use Olenna’s castle as a backdrop. Mainly we’re talking about a lot of Minifigures (which would be a cool Civil War collector’s twist on Lego) and the artillery that was present. It’s not a super elaborate set, but it’s one that highlights a pretty cool moment from this past season and would feature Dany, Bronn, and Jaime as Minifigures. You could also have a charred Dickon, just for a chuckle.

4. The Raid At Casterly Rock
The Moment
Prior to the attack at High Garden, when Dany rode in on her dragon and took her first real shot at Cersei’s strength, we had this moment. Grey Worm and the Unsullied raid Casterly Rock at the behest of Tyrion. The idea here is that Daenerys and Tyrion would secure a strong foothold that is important to the Lannister’s and essentially encroach on prime real estate down south. Of course, Cersei knew this would happen and evacuated so the raid was pointless.
Why It Needs To Be A Lego Set
It makes a great Lego set for a few reasons. We get a Grey Worm Minifigure, which is clutch. There’s also a lot more architecture at Casterly Rock than there is with a set about the battle at High Garden. It would seem a little forced to cram a castle into the set mentioned previously, but Casterly Rock is perfect for a fantastical set that could easily double as a set any fantasy Lego lover would absolutely need. Plus, you’d be hard pressed to not stage some battles after the set was completed, or perhaps simulate what it would be like if Dany really did what Jon warned her against and “melted castles”.
Some assembly may be required after that, should you choose that route.

3. Jon and Company Stuck Beyond the Wall
The Moment
After huddling with Daenerys, it’s deciding that what the team needs is a wight hostage to convince the heads of Westeros the White Walker threat is real. To do this, Jon and his Wild Bunch venture north of The Wall in order to get one. Of course, things go sour and our ragtag Suicide Squad is stuck in the middle of a fragile lake of ice — surrounded by thousands of wights and White Walkers.
Naturally, this leads to a standoff and then a huge fight before Dany comes swopping in on Viserion to save the day.
Why It Needs To Be A Lego Set
Like the first set that we suggested include Daenerys, this isn’t really there for te architecture. It does, however, offer up a chance for some unique entiries into the Lego set kingdom. The idea that the set could have a lot of clear blue crystal pieces is intriguing and could help it stand out as one of the more astehtically pleasing sets. The minifigure arguement can be had here as well. Jon Snow, The Hound, Beric and the Night King are all minifigures that could come out of this set. It would be an artsy addition to the Lego sets and one that Game of Thrones fans might be intrigued enough to purchase.

2. Euron’s Fleet Attacking Theon and Yara
The Moment
In the dark of night, Yara and Theon Greyjoy have their fleet attacked by Uncle Euron Greyjoy. Completely caught off guard, the fleet is essentially destroyed and the soldiers there massacred by the mercenaries fighting alongside Euron. Yara finds herself captured but Theon chickens out instead of saving her (or fighting for her honor). He bails overboard and the fleets burn around him.
Why It Needs To Be A Lego Set
Ships are a super underrated Lego set, and one we don’t see often enough. Spaceships, sure, but actual old fashion boats aren’t represented well enough in the Lego catalog. Perhaps it’s just because there isn’t enough opportunity for ships, but what better chance for a boat/ship set than this battle from Game of Thrones? We’d be guarunteed to get minifigures of Theon, Euron, and Yara adding to a collection of main chracters we’d be trying to see made into little Lego.
Beyond that, it could be a set that is on par with some of the other more impressive vehicle sets that have come our way in the past and the intricacies are involved in the craftsmanship to make this more than just a standard set that acts as nothing more than a cash grab.

1. The Wall Falling
The Moment
Every Game of Thrones fan knows this moment. Either you were sitting in wide-eyed shock as it happened or you were execpting it for a full season now having been on top of your prediction game. One way or the other, The Wall falling thanks to the Night King and his undead ice-breathing dragon was a seminal moment in the show’s history.
Why It Needs To Be A Lego Set
There might not be a better Game of Thrones Lego set than this one. Not just in terms of Season 7 sets but ones all-time. Was it the most iconic moment? No, but try making a Lego set out of the Red Wedding and selling it to children. At least with The Wall falling it was epically violent destruction rather than destructively epic violence. Getting a set where The Wall falls offers up a few really intriguing things for Lego lovers. First off, we get to build The Wall — which might invest us in just how big of a deal it is (beyond how much we already are). The architecture of the set could allow for a completely constructed wall or one that is artistically caved in and therefore cooler to display.

We saw Lego go big with the UCS Millennium Falcon set featuring over 7,000 pieces. This doesn’t have to surpass that (although it certainly could), however, it could easily rank as one of the biggest sets ever. Star Wars dominates the top of the list when it comes to the largest sets ever, and there’s a place at the table for Game of Thrones with not only a set of The Wall but any of the ones we mentioned.
