11. Amazon Store Card pays you back with Amazon credit

Like many companies nowadays, Amazon has their own Amazon Store Card you can use as basically a credit card for their store. You can only use it to purchase things on Amazon, but given the wide variety of products they carry, that’s fair enough. There’s no annual fee which is another added bonus. But where this card really shines is how it can actually earn you additional Amazon credit to use on other items.

Amazon Prime members who get this card get the special Amazon Prime Store Card, which earns them 5% back on all purchases made on the website. If you do a lot of Amazon shopping, that can actually start adding up pretty quickly. It’s a situation where if you’re going to do a lot of shopping online anyway, you could do it with this card and end up getting lots of credit to make on other purchases.

There are other perks to this card, such as offering no interest on purchases if paid back in full within a certain time frame. But this is obviously only going to be for those out there who are good with plastic and never miss those monthly payments. Only if you’re strict about paying off what you buy, you can save quite a bit doing this. Otherwise, you shouldn’t go for this option, as late fees and interest rates will not only cost you more money, but can hurt your credit as well.
