Trading in things you don’t need has long been a staple of business for many different companies. These days, Amazon itself is no different. They offer a mostly hassle free system of trading in that stuff you don’t need, giving you credit to use for purchases for other items on the website. You might find that purging a lot of the things you want to get rid of can reward you with credit towards things you’ll actually use.
The greatest part about Amazon’s trade in program is how much better the reimbursements can be compared to other trade in websites. Its only catch is that you’re not getting cash for the items, but credit to use only on Amazon’s stock. That’s balanced out by the fact that Amazon carries pretty much anything you might need, from electronics to groceries. Finding something to use the credit on won’t be an issue. And it’s still far worth it to be getting, say, $200 in Amazon credit instead of a $50 check.
When you supply Amazon with information about the items you want to trade in, they will give you an offer. Should you take it, they’ll provide you with a free shipping label so you won’t have to pay a dime to ship anything.
To get started on the trade in program, or at least see what you can get out of these things you no longer use, head on over to the Amazon trade in section.
