Throughout the year, LEGO will have various contests to get people involved with the products. Meet the members of the LEGO Ideas and their projects.
LEGO Ideas is a great concept! Here at Bricks Are Awesome, we always love hearing the creative and imaginative projects that people come up with. On the official LEGO Ideas Twitter account, the company shared a video that introduced a few of the brains behind some of the recent packages you can find in the stores.
Below, you can meet some of the people who have contributed their ideas to some of the most amazing projects that you may have purchased, such as the Women in Space project and the LEGO in a bottle. Yes, these ideas came from regular folks who just had some creative ideas.
What has happened in these cases is that the company has taken those ideas and made them into sets. The creators may get a chance to do a signature event at the stores, where they sign the sets they’ve helped design. Listen below to their stories in the Twitter video.
To celebrate 10 amazing years of crowdsourcing & collaboration between LEGO & fans around the world, we reached out to LEGO Ideas members around the world to hear what LEGO Ideas means to them.

The company has created a designated Twitter account where you can start sharing your ideas and your products with the company. If you want to see what other people have done or are doing, this is a great place to stay in touch with what is going on.

If you know someone who has been building a project, it could be a good idea to send it to LEGO Ideas as a surprise and give them a Christmas gift when the company reaches out about making it into a set. How awesome would that be for someone who is a true brick nerd?
What project would you want to create?
