Run, don’t walk, to get this NYCC Star Wars BrickHeadz exclusive

BrickHeadz is releasing another Comic-Con exclusive, and Star Wars fans attending this weekend’s New York Comic-Con should pay attention.

Lego is an almost infinitely collectable entity, but the company keeps adding on layers anyways. Look no further than the explosion in popularity among collectors of BrickHeadz. They’re a cross between the Funk Pop! figures and what a version of that would look like with Lego.

Needless to say, they’re highly collectable.

New York Comic-Con this weekend will be playing to its audience with an exclusive Brickheadz set that includes Boba Fett and a frozen Han Solo. The price tag is $40 but that’s nothing compared to how much you’ll have to pay if you try to get it afterwards.

    Check out the set here.

You can always bank on these things becoming available after the fact on places like eBay. Don’t expect it to be cheap, though. Two sets that were given away at SDCC this year are currently going for well over $100 on eBay.

Here’s the Black Panther/Doctor Strange set:

    And the Superman/Martian Hunter set:

That’s a pretty penny you’d have to drop in order to secure one of these Comic-Con exclusives on the secondary market.

You could try to cash in on the Boba Fett/Han Solo set, or you could be a collector and keep it. There’s nothing wrong with trying to profit off of something but most collectors would be wise to hang onto this set for their own pleasure.

The sets are cool, and while they exist outside of what we’re used to with Lego pop culture crossovers, BrickHeadz have earned its place in the world of collectables. Making something A) Star Wars and B) Comic-Con exclusive only heightens the stakes when it comes to getting your hands on one of these sets.
