Star Wars The Last Jedi Heavy Scout Walker looks amazing

Star Wars The Last Jedi hits theaters in December, but we can get an early look at the film thanks to some leaked Lego sets.

We’re under half-a-year away from the release of Star Wars The Last Jedi, and the Lego sets are starting to leak. We’ve seen Kylo’s tie fighter, a better look at Supreme Leader Snoke and a few Resistance vehicles already leak and more are coming.

One of the coolest from the latest batch of leaks is what is being called a First Order Heavy Scout Walker. It’s the introduction of a new vehicle to the Star Wars universe and also potentially the coolest set we’ve seen in a while.

This seems to be in line with the quasi-copying of the original trilogy. In Empire Strikes Back we were given a look at the AT-AT walkers during the Hoth battle sequence. In Return of the Jedi the walkers family was added onto with the AT-ST units.

The Last Jedi is continuing this trend, while in my opinion blending prequel elements into this new trilogy. The latest Lego leak has given us a look at the Heavy Scout Walker, which appears to be a mixture of the traditional walkers from the original trilogy and the rolling destroyer droids of the prequels.

It’s hard to describe a Lego set before it is built, but think AT-ST meets crab droid.

And yeah, it sounds amazing. If we can get a fully functional Lego set that performs the movements of the actual ship then this might low-key be the coolest Star Wars set we’ve seen in a while.

    Check it out here.

There will be more of these leaks coming out, and you’d best be saving up your money to go out and get them. Based on how cool they look it’s only going to be a matter of time before some of these are off the market and sold out.
