Of course, PokeStops also give out other items as well, and they’re vital to ensuring you can fight your way through even the toughest Gym. Like Poke Balls, better items unlock as you level up in the game.

Serebii.net has compiled a complete list of items available in the game. Most are given out at PokeStops. Super, Hyper, and Max Potions unlock at levels 10, 15, and 25, respectively. Super Potions heal 50 HP per go, while Hypers heal 200 HP.

PokeStops can also give out Razz Berries when you reach level 12. These items increase a catch rate for a Pokemon for one toss only. That means you really need to aim well to maximize efficiency.

Revives unlock at level 5; they bring back a fainted Pokemon at half health. Max Revives are also in the game. If used, a fainted Pokemon revives with all of its health. Trainers unlock those at level 30.

PokeStops can also give out Eggs, which you must hatch by walking certain distances. We’ll cover Eggs in more detail later on in this tip guide.

However, the trick with refreshing PokeStops increases your odds of getting multiple Eggs and plenty of Potions and Revives for the next time you take on a Gym.
