So you have plenty of Eggs, and maybe a couple Incubators to go along with it. The question now becomes one of resource management. How do you distribute your Eggs to avoid wasting those 3 uses of a blue Incubator?
First off, use the infinite-use Incubator, the orange one, for your 2km eggs. 2km is only about 1.2 miles, which you could easily knock out in one session of Pokemon GO. If you keep putting 2km Eggs in your limited-use Incubators, you’ll waste it in an afternoon, and you won’t get rare Pokemon from it.
Unfortunately, there’s a problem with this method. You only get one infinite-use Incubator, so you might get a glut of 2 km Eggs and need to do some extra playing to open up spaces in your Egg pocket.
That means putting your 5 km and 10 km Eggs in your limited-use Incubators. 5 km and 10 km Eggs tend to contain rarer Pokemon, so it’s worth using those limited resources to hatch them.
Now, you may not have any 2 km Eggs. Don’t feel bad about putting a 5 km or even a 10 km Egg into your infinite-use Incubator, however. What matters most is getting the Eggs hatched so that you can keep getting more of them from PokeStops.
