10. LSU Tigers Football
LSU has some of the best jerseys in all of college sports. Their color scheme of gold, purple, and white means the options are plentiful. The colors look incredible together. However, their football team has the best jerseys of all sports teams. One could argue they are the best among all college football teams.
The Tigers’ uniforms are a testament to keeping it simple. If you have a great color scheme like LSU, you don’t need to get fancy. Just keep it simple and add some subtle things. Play around with stripes and see what works. For the Tigers, wearing a primary white top works. This allows for the gold and purple to be used as stripes and in lettering. The purple especially pops and has one of the best aesthetics of any color used by an NCAA team.
I’m a huge fan of their pants. The gold looks gorgeous and complements the white tops well. You can’t rock an all white uniform without looking silly. The pants match their helmet, which features a gold background and purple lettering.
My only beef with LSU’s uniforms is they don’t rock an all gold and purple look. They look beautiful together and they could do a lot of fun things with the color scheme. Sure, LSU rocks their old school gold look once or twice a season and it’s fantastic. But the Tigers could do a lot of things with that color scheme. To be fair, no one can blame them for settling with these beauties.
