    9. New Orleans Saints Color Rush (2016)

Remember how I noted it’s hard to pull off an all white uniform without looking silly? Nike found a way to do it with the New Orleans Saints. When fans first heard they were going to rock white jerseys and white pants, there was a bit of outrage. But once everyone saw how perfect the look was, very few people complained.

What makes this jerseys special is the gold accents. It really gives the uniform a bit of flair while the white keeps it clean and classic. You can even see the gold captain logo on Drew Brees’ uniform. The best part of the gold is it doesn’t jump off as much as other colors, but at the same time, it doesn’t just blend in. On the sleeves, the stripes are very nice. The gold and black colors make it more than just an all white uniform.

My lone issue with this look is why not pull off the all black look? That would have been incredible. Of course, it would be hard to work white into it. However, black and gold is one heck of a color scheme to work with. Just don’t rock the all gold look because it’s awful (just ask the Jacksonville Jaguars). But if Nike didn’t want to use black, white was a solid choice. It takes a special design to make the all white outfit work and the Saints found a way to do it.

Nike dropped the ball on a lot of the color rush jerseys. Quite frankly, the Seattle Seahawks and Jaguars jerseys might be the two worst jerseys I’ve ever seen an NFL team wear. But they nailed it with the Saints.
