    27. Manchester City

Nike has expanded their influence into the soccer world. This has been a very smart decision for them, as their soccer market has turned out to be their fastest growing one. Soccer jerseys can be hard to design with some difficult color schemes. However, the company hit a grand slam by giving Manchester City a much needed makeover.

Their color scheme is now one resembling the North Carolina Tar Heels. It’s hard to make an all light blue scheme work, but Manchester City makes it work. Everything about the kit is amazing, down to the black lettering on the front and the black swoosh mark. Even the team’s logo looks gorgeous.

Usually, it’s a bad idea to use three different color schemes for your three jerseys. But Manchester City makes it work. Their home kit is the light blue look. However, their away kit features black as the primary school with maroon sleeves. Maroon is such an underrated color and it works very well with black. Their alternate is the most recent addition. It resembles a sunset, with orange and blue being the primary colors. Nike made a very bold choice here, potentially one that could have messed everything up. But it’s gorgeous. Hopefully more teams adopt this style of jersey if the color scheme works.

Their relationship started in 2013. Since then, they’ve had a much larger influence around the world in soccer. They now sponsor teams in over 20 countries. This is likely because of their success with Manchester City.
