We all need coffee and donuts to get through and/or celebrate Memorial Day. Which raise the question, is Dunkin’ Donuts open?
Memorial Day, May 29, 2017, is a national holiday and national holidays are intended for relaxation and indulgence. That’s why it’s such great news that Dunkin’ Donuts is open on Memorial Day, with normal store hours, to cater to all your sugary and indulgent needs.
Coffee and donuts certainly rank in the pyramid of most American food choices and whether you’re on your way to the festivities (need: coffee) or on your way home (need: donuts), Dunkin’ can set you up with an appropriate Memorial Day treat.
Dunkin’ Donuts recently announced an additional summer donuts and coffee flavors too. As of Memorial Day, you can add s’more coffee swirl to any beverage to give it a healthy graham cracker, toasted marshmallow and melted chocolate flavor. DD is already offering Coconut Creme Pie and Butter Pecan swirls in coffee shops across the country.
Of course, donut is in the name so Dunkin’ is obviously offering special summer donuts. This year, it’s a Vanilla Cake Batter Donut and the Dunkin’ Donuts Sprinkles Donut. The former is stuffed with vanilla cake batter and frosted with chocolate icing; the latter has white icing and pink and orange DD sprinkles.
Without a doubt, your local Dunkin’ Donuts will also throw together some specially decorated, extremely patriotic donuts for the holiday weekend.
Dunkin’ Donuts are typically open from early morning (about 5 a.m.) to early night (9 p.m.), however many locations are 24 hours. Check with your local shop, though it’s a safe guess that they will be keeping their usual hours on Memorial Day, Monday May 29, 2017. If not — and if you’re a regular, which we have a sneaking suspicion you are — you’ve probably seen a sign alerting you otherwise.
