It’s Easter Sunday, but is McDonald’s open for a trip to grab a Big Mac before the big meal?
Holidays are a fun time for everyone, as it means skipping out on work and gathering around the table for some family time. It also means pining over wondering if certain stores and restaurants will remain open, something true of Easter Sunday.
Not everyone celebrates Easter and not everyone cooks an Easter dinner to be eaten at home. Some families go out and need to know the adjusted holiday hours for certain restaurants. Some families celebrate Easter at McDonalds.
Naturally, the question becomes is McDonald’s going to open its doors on Easter Sunday or are we all out of luck if that’s our choice of cuisine?
Yes, McDonald’s is indeed — and unsurprisingly — open on Easter. Maybe it’s unfair to say that McDonald’s being open is unsurprising, but they are the Walmart of fast food so we can’t be shocked that the grills will be warm on Easter.
To be completely fair to the fast food chain, they do close their doors on most other holidays. The store alters its hours for Christmas, New Years and Thanksgiving but not as drastically Easter Sunday.
Not all McDonald’s will remain open for their normal store hours though, so be sure to check in before heading over. For the most part, you’ll be able to get a Big Mac, McGriddle or whatever your fancy is from McDonald’s all day long on Easter.
