After months of waiting from Apple fans, the massive tech company is reportedly set to officially unveil the iPhone 7 on September 7th.
Apple has been keeping information on their latest iPhone under wraps, but it’s now sounding like we will finally get to see the iPhone 7 in less than a month.
According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.com, the next generation of iPhone is set to be unveiled in September during a scheduled Apple event. The official date for the event is September 7th, and although Apple spokesman Bill Evans declined to talk to Gurman, it sounds like this event will be the official unveiling of the next iPhone.
Again, this isn’t a sure thing, but all signs point to the iPhone 7 being on display at this event. There have already been a number of leaked images and videos of the new phone, and with no other product leaks happening recently, it’s not likely that the event would be regarding a new Macbook or iPad or Apple Watch.
Another reason to believe that the iPhone 7 will be revealed at this event is the fact that Apple has been pretty consistent with its iPhone rollout over the past couple of years. In 2015, Apple’s fall iPhone rollout came with an announcement on September 9th followed by the product hitting stores on September 25th.
For those who are due for an upgrade or those who simply have to have the newest Apple products, be sure to mark September 7th down on your calendar so that you can check out the new iPhone.
