Chipotle isn’t your typical Memorial Day destination, but is it even open to be considered an option?
Memorial Day is all about grilling, red meat and cheap beer. But times have changed and thanks to Millennials (you’re welcome), how we celebrate Memorial Day has evolved. Not everyone is going to be grilling out in their backyard — most of us don’t have backyards anymore.
Some of us are even savage enough to go to Chipotle on Memorial Day, a store many of you were probably wondering was even open or not.
Those of you looking for a fix on burrito bowls on Memorial Day are in luck, Chipotle is open for business.
For the record, here are the holidays that Chipotle remains open for:
– Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (MLK Day)
– Valentine’s Day
– Presidents Day
– Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday
– St. Patrick’s Day
– Tax Day
– Good Friday
– Easter Monday
– Cinco de Mayo
– Mother’s Day
– Memorial Day
– Father’s Day
– Labor Day
– Columbus Day
– Halloween
– Veterans Day
– Black Friday
– Christmas Eve
– New Year’s Eve
Can we be real for a minute and acknowledge how much Tax Day isn’t a holiday? There’s nothing like celebrating giving money to the government, whether you’re liberal or conservative. Also, there’s no store that’s going to close its doors on Black Friday.
If you’re wondering, the holidays that Chipotle is closed for are New Year’s, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Fourth of July.
