Monday May 29 is Memorial Day 2017 and we know you’re looking for a burger and want to know: is McDonald’s open?
McDonald’s, like most fast food restaurants, is open on Memorial Day May 29, 2017. McDonald’s typically only closes on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day, but if you are planning on going to the Golden Arches for your Memorial Day burgers, call ahead to confirm your preferred store’s hours.
Burgers are a classic Memorial Day food and whose to judge you if you want one from McDonald’s? McDonald’s has been in the burger game for 77 years at this point, so they certainly know what they’re doing. Plus, with their new premium, signature crafted sandwiches, you can get other grilled delights pico guacamole or maple bacon djion or sweet BBQ bacon.
Moreover, McDonald’s low-key has a great menu to build out a whole cookout’s worth of goods. Soda and fries, obviously. But also all sorts of milkshakes and smoothies as well as classic desserts like soft serve cones, hot fudge sundaes, baked apple pies and chocolate chip cookies. Honestly, with some strategy, you could put together a prime picnic based on McDonald’s alone that’s a lot less work than a full scale barbecue.
If you really want to get the most out of your Memorial Day McDonald’s trip, make sure you download the app. The McDonald’s app will set you up in no time with excellent deals like free fries and free soda with the purchase of a sandwich.
People go to McDonald’s on holidays for many reasons. Maybe it’s a stop on a long road trip. Maybe it’s a family tradition. Maybe you don’t like any of your aunt’s food and left the official event starving. Maybe fast food just feels really patriotic to you.
Whatever your reason, McDonald’s will be open and ready to serve on Memorial Day 2017.
