Currently, they are ranked second in the world, trailing only the United States. Spain has quickly closed the gap between the USA and the rest of the world, consistently giving them a close game when they play.

The color scheme is simple, but it works great. Red is always a great choice for uniforms, but this bold red is even better. It really pops and it’s a bold shade, appropriate of a country like Spain. But the yellow lettering and detail is what brings it all together. You need a strong color to pop on a bright red uniform and the yellow does precisely that. Nike even added a subtle dark red stripe down the jerseys, which looks extremely nice.

It’s a compliment to say a national team’s uniform looks like a manifestation of their flag. Especially when you have an awesome flag like Spain. Nike did a darn good job with their basketball uniforms, proving they are smart enough to stay with the classic look if it works.
