19. College students can save big time on Amazon Prime
While having Amazon Prime is certainly worth it in the long run, paying for its yearly rate can seem like a big chunk of money to spend. Over time, that $99 evens out with all of the free 2-day shipping you will be enjoying for the items you buy online. And that’s not even mentioning Prime Video and all of the other perks that come with the service. Still, $99 is a lot of money to pull out of the bank account, and it sure would be nice to, say, at least cut that bill in half.
There is a way to do just that if you’re a college student. Those currently taking classes will have the wonderful privilege of obtaining Amazon Prime for literally half the price as the rest of us! A full year of Amazon Prime, if purchased through Amazon Student, will only cost you $49. That is half the cost the rest of us will have to pay if we aren’t taking college courses.
Amazon Student also offers plenty of exclusive sales and deals for those subscribed to it. Relevant products will be offered for discounts for school supplies, such as laptop computers or graphing calculators.
To sweeten this deal even more, you won’t even need to pay that fifty bucks until after half a year. Amazon also gives studying students six months worth of Amazon Prime for free. You will of course need to have a college email address to prove you are a current student. Find out more at Amazon Student.
