20. Subscribe for regular shipments to save more money
As you may or may not know, Amazon sells pretty much everything on their website. This includes groceries of all kinds, edible and taxables alike. There are many items you can find cheaper on Amazon than you will in many brick and mortar locations. And for the things you go through quickly and have to buy regularly, there’s a perfect way for you to stay stocked up and continue to save those dollars.
Amazon offers a “Subscribe and Save” plan for their customers. Basically, you subscribe to receive orders of certain items on guaranteed dates that you arrange. It’s all up to you when you want to receive these items and how many different products you wish to subscribe to. Of course, if you sign up for this, all of the items you subscribe to come with free shipping.
The more you subscribe to, the more you save. If you have five or more items guaranteed to come each month, you’ll get another 15% off the entire order. Grouping the things you buy regularly into one subscription can become a fast and easy way to stay stocked up and keep a few extra bucks for the piggy bank. Yet there aren’t nearly enough people taking advantage of this service.
If you start to get too backed up on something, you can edit your subscription at any time. Either cancel the next order or remove it from your subscription entirely, as it’s up to you. Go to their Subscribe and Save area to find out more.
