Wyoming: Snake River Brewing, Pako’s IPA
Wyoming brings visions of snow covered mountains and days at the ski lodge. But, after a long day on the slopes, a well-earned beer is a great reward. Snake River Brewing, “brewed with a touch of the Tetons” is a perfect choice.
Jackson Hole brings in all types of people to ski, fish and enjoy the beauty of the Cowboy state. While Wyoming is the least populated state, many beer distributors didn’t focus on bringing the area better beers. But with the influx of tourism and locals wanting better beer, more breweries have pooped up in the area.
One notable brewery is Snake River Brewery. This brewery started the local beer scene. Over the years, it has stayed on top of its game with award winning beers and attention to detail.
This brewery takes a clear eco-friendly stance on beer. Snake River Brewery uses a green choice can. This beer can is lighter in weight and smaller in size. The change to the can reduces transportation costs, which is better for the environment. Also, the can is recycle friendly.
While the brewery has had many award winning beers, one of its signature beers is Pako’s IPA. Pronounced “PACO.” The golden ale is hoppy IPA. Those beer enthusiasts that love a good hoppy beer would embrace this IPA. While maintaining its balance, the beer is hop forward. Who’s Pako though? He’s the brewery’s mascot.
Snake River Brewery beers are available at the tap room and at select retailers.
